Children receive a new knowledge organiser for each unit of work in KS2.
They use these booklets to collect knowledge about what they are learning and to complete and record music composition tasks.
By the time they leave Year 6, the children will have collected 16 knowledge organisers detailing what they have learned. These booklets act as a reference if they children would like to return to a style of music or composer that they have learned about previously to help consolidate learning.
