Forest Fields value the development of the whole child and use the Character Curriculum as a driver for this. In line with this ethos we provide opportunities for some of our children to develop key leadership skills.
Each year we train a number of Year 6 children to be become 'Young Leaders'. Their role involves providing games/activities during break times for children across the school. They will also be involved in the delivery of House competitions and end-of-year sports days.
In partnership with 'School Sport Nottingham' we also train some Year 5 children to become Young Ambassadors. They will be delivering 'Change for Life' sessions with some Year 3 children along with organising activities for KS1 children to participate in during lunchtime.
