Forest Fields Area Band

🎵 Area Band Spring Performance 🎻

Date: Wednesday, 6th March 2024

Location: Albert Hall, Nottingham

We will take your child to the concert by school minibus or by tram for rehearsal at 3pm and return them to school to be picked up at 6:15pm.

 

If you would like to attend the concert, here are the details.

Doors open for audience: 4:50pm

Performance starts: 5pm

Performance ends: 5:40pm

Families will need to book tickets to attend the performance (performing children do not need a ticket) £2.50 per person.

Take your child to the foyer of the venue with their instrument to meet Ms Cawley for: 7.20pm (Rehearsal time)
Doors open for audience: 7.50pm
Performance starts: 8.00pm
Performance ends: 9:00pm
At the end of the concert you will be asked to wait in the foyer.

Forest Fields children will be sent to meet families there with Ms Cawley.

Global Connections: Nottingham Music Hub ensembles at the University of Nottingham, June 23rd 2023

Music hub area bands from 19 city schools assemble across the University of Nottingham Campus to rehearse before coming together to perform music from around the world with the Robin Hood Youth Orchestra.

String Lessons - book for practice at home 

Your child is progressing well in their string lessons - they will need to practice at home regularly.

This is the book that they will be using for their cello, violin or viola lessons.

On the 16th September 2021, a talented crew of Forest Fields musicians went to the University of Nottingham's Music Department to flex their musical muscles once more!
