Hello - I was born in Nottingham and have always lived and worked in Nottinghamshire. I have over 20 years’ experience working in local government, 18 of those in the local education department; I currently work for a charity for disabled children and young people.
My working experience includes working in line with various legislation and processes including SEND, Safeguarding and Health and Safety, Ofsted care standards, education quality assurance and compliance and business management.
I am also an independent inspector of children’s homes and a fostering panel member. I have experience of being a chair of governors previously, and I am genuinely excited to be a part of the Forest Fields family, having the opportunity to utilise my skills in supporting such a happy, nurturing, inclusive, ambitious, and respectful school.
