Wollaton Hall Camp 2014
Summer 2
Welcome back. We hope everyone had an enjoyable, if slightly damp half term. Fingers crossed the sun will shine for us now we are back at school.
Fantastic Forest Fields!
As you can see, our topic for this half term is called 'Fantastic Forest Fields!' This is a celebration of the local area and we will be looking at how Forest Fields and housing has changed over the years. We will be testing forces in Science and will be doing lots of practical activities both in school and at the Forest.
Owls
Year 2 enjoyed a visit from 'Bob the Owl Man'. We were very proud of the children's behaviour. They sat so quietly and listened to everything Bob had to tell them about the owls he had brought it. All the children learnt so much. We loved seeing the owls flying in the hall and some of the children, (and adults) even got the chance to hold an owl.
