Autumn 2019
The 'Friends of Forest Fields' are proud to be a part of the school's newest purchase - A cooker and hob for the Stanley intervention room.
Children from the Foundation Stage right through to Year 6 will be able to develop their cooking and baking skills and hopefully impress you at home with their newly developed talent!
The FoFFs organised a number of fund raising events last year and thanks to your generosity, they were able to donate a massive £350 to help with the purchase of the cooker (please see pictures below).
Once again, thank you for generous contributions and for participating in these events. It means a lot to our children.
NEXT EVENT: Film Night - 12.12.19
Welcome to the Friends of Forest Fields Primary & Nursery School!
It's now official...We are up and running
We will keep you informed of up and coming events and how you as members of the organisation can get involved.
As an association we aim to:
· Enhance and advance the educational environment of the pupils of the school and;
· Foster relationships between staff, parents and others associated with the school (including the local community).
· Raise funds to enrich the opportunities for the children by organising fund raising and social activities.
For full details about the association, please read our constitution.
As stated in the constitution:
All parents and guardians (including carers) and friends of children attending the school become automatic members when their child starts school. All serving members of staff and governors are also automatic members of the Association. Friends are deemed to be anyone with a connection to a child at school, for example grandparents, aunts, uncles and step-parents.
We would welcome any ideas you may have with regards activities and fund raising events. If you'd like to become more involved, then please ask at the school office. Currently, we have 25 names of people who have expressed an interest in being a part of the association along with 10 members of our school staff.
